PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display body which presents a three-dimensional (3-D) metallic image both when lighted internally and externally, and which also presents the same 3-D metallic image when observed from a front and from an angled direction. SOLUTION: The metallic image body comprises; a transparent or translucent resin layer which has a front face and a rear face, and which is formed in a 3-D form; a transmittance rate control layer which is arranged in a part of at least either of the front face or the rear face of the 3-D formed section of the 3-D formed resin layer; and a translucent metallic layer which is arranged in a whole part of the front face or the rear face of the 3-D formed section of the 3-D formed resin layer.
