<p>A system for transporting swarf loaded cutting and cooling fluid, e.g. for recycling, has a circular collecting sump fitted with a rotating scraper arm (10, 11) with profiled leading edges (12, 13) to loosen any swarf sediment collected on the bottom of the sump and mix it with the fluid for pumping out of the sump. The rotating arms have a loose fitting spindle which enables the scraper arms to flex for effective swarf mixing, and without blocking.</p> |
