PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems wherein a warp yarn can not be wound smoothly and uniformly on a beam by the change of the orthogonal relation between the flow direction of the warp yarn and the axis direction of a yarn-guiding roll. SOLUTION: A beam machine 1 has the beam 4 for winding the warp yarn M and installed so as to be freely rotatable, and a front reed 6, a tension-imparting roll 8 and the yarn-guiding roll 9 installed in order from the upstream side at the upstream side of the beam 4. The warp yarn M can uniformly be wound in good order without causing slippage and twist at the yarn-guiding roll 9 or the like, without allowing the movement of a winding position on the beam 4 to rapidly respond to the movement of the yarn-guiding roll 9 or the like and without generating unnecessary stress by maintaining the orthogonal relation by installing the front reed 6, the tension-imparting roll 8 and the yarn guiding roll 9 so as to be simultaneously, reciprocally and freely moved in the width direction.
