PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot print technologies capable of simply and surely hot-printing foil or ink on a material to be printed, and excellent in the cutting off of the foil on printing or the voluminous feeling of the foil after hot-printing. SOLUTION: This adhesion ribbon 1 formed by filling a hot melt adhesive 2 in a mesh 1c of a screen 1b bonded with a base film 1a through a releasing material 1d for forming a dot pattern of the hot melt adhesive 2 is used. By overlapping the adhesive ribbon 1 on a material to be printed 61 so as to oppose the hot melt adhesive 2 to the material to be printed 61, passing electric current to a thermal head in the above state for softening the hot melt adhesive 2 at the desired pattern part so as to print on the material to be printed 61.
