Method and device for verifying a measuring condition in a hearing device

The method involves recording two measuring points (A, D) in a frequency response of a hearing device. A correct signal is output, if the measuring points lie in a predetermined tolerance range. The position of the measuring points outside the tolerance range is determined, and a distortion signal is output based on the determined position, when one of the measuring points lie outside the tolerance range. An independent claim is also included for an apparatus for checking the measuring condition while testing and adjusting a hearing aid.
