A support block for a traffic sign and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to realize a smooth traffic condition by connecting the traffic sign using pre-cured block. A supporting block(500) for supporting a traffic sign(200) comprises a reclaiming portion(550) and a prop connecting portion(510). The prop is coupled to an upper portion of the supporting block through a nut. The reclaiming portion is partially reclaimed under the ground. The prop connecting portion has an anchor bolt protruding from an upper portion thereof. The prop connecting portion includes a metal plate having a flat surface. An anchor and a prop connecting bolt protrude from an upper surface and the bottom of the prop connecting portion, respectively.
