<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To show a status of image data being transmitted and received when transmitting and receiving the image data. <P>SOLUTION: Reduced image data for transfer are transmitted from a transmitting side camera 1A to a receiving side camera 1B. Regular image data are then transmitted from the transmitting side camera 1A to the receiving side camera 1B.
