<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generation support method, a generation support apparatus, and a computer program for supporting generation of a job network, at an input stage for definition of a job required for a network defining the execution sequence of a plurality of jobs. <P>SOLUTION: The generation support apparatus 1 displays (S1) a matrix, accepts (S3) input for name information to be assigned to cells arranged in the matrix, accepts (S4) input for an execution sequence among jobs related to the name information, records (S5) the matrix indicating them as a job flow defining document, further accepts (S7) input for definition of a job related to the cell, and records (S8) the accepted job definition as a job parameter defining document with position information indicating the position of the cell as an identifier.
