<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To serve as an independent main tap for each water supply pipe by individually stopping water flow downstream of branch ports of a joint having the branch ports formed with internal threads, which are a plurality of holes right-angled to a water flow direction to connect a plurality of water supply pipes branched from a main pipe. <P>SOLUTION: Each branch port in a joint has a stop valve part, and one stop valve bar 9 is rotated clockwise to bring a drain cock 12 into close contact with a cut-off seat 3 provided at the stop valve part of a joint body. Water flow of the water supply pipe downstream of the corresponding branch port 5 can thereby be stopped.
