PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system simultaneously reconciling water balance and heat balance of a fuel cell, with high efficiency. SOLUTION: A cooling performance estimating means 2 estimates the cooling performance of a cooling device, and a heat value estimating means 3 estimates the heat value of a fuel cell main body 20. A temperature estimating means 4 estimates the temperature of the fuel cell main body 20, and the water collection volume estimating means 5 estimates the water collection volume of the fuel cell main body 20, depending on the estimated cooling performance and the heat value. A water collection volume control means 6 drives the fuel cell so as to reconcile the water balance and the heat balance by controlling the gas pressure, the gas utilization rate, or the output, depending on the estimated temperature and the water collection volume of the fuel cell main body 20. |
