PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing merchandise production data and merchandise sales data, which can perform accurate stock control and gross margin management in a fresh food purchase block unit and also, can automatically decide merchandise whose expiration date is expired, and to provide a device to be used for the method. SOLUTION: A pack ID number capable of individually discriminating each piece of merchandise is printed on a price label of fresh food with a mechanically readable code such as a bar code, and a block ID number for discriminating a raw material block used to produce the merchandise, data necessary for merchandise registration at a checkout such as a merchandise code and a price, and expiration date data, etc., of the merchandise are also stored while associated with the back ID number. Thus, it is possible to accumulate production data in a raw material block unit of the fresh food. |
