<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce size and weight of a lamp chamber while improving cooling efficiency of an LED light source, as well as reduce vibration of optical system components such as the LED light source. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle headlight with LED light sources 1, 11 arranged in a lamp chamber 23 demarcated by a housing 21 and a cover lens 22, and with a fan 29 for cooling the LED light sources 1, 11 fitted, include jackets 6, 16 for receiving heat to transmit heat generated by the LED light sources 1, 11 to a cooling water, a radiator 25 for radiating heat which is transmitted to the cooling water, a pump 26 for circulating the cooling water, and a pipe for cooling water 28 for coupling the jackets 6, 16 for receiving heat, the radiator 25 and the pump 26. The radiator 25 is cooled by air flow generated by the fan 19, the pipe for cooling water 28 is extended to outside of the lamp chamber 23, as well as, the radiator 25 and the fan 29 are arranged outside the lamp chamber 23, the fan 29 is supported by different components from the ones of housing 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
