PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera having an AF function, which enables easy focusing on a subject located at an optional place in a photographing range. SOLUTION: A light blinking area corresponding to an irradiation position of blinking light radiated by a laser pointer is detected from an image picked up by a CCD (S9). When the light blinking area is detected (YES in S10), an AF area centering the light blinking area is newly set, and focusing processing for the AF area is performed (S12). Just by radiating a light beam to a specified part of the desired subject, a user can set the AF area on the specified part and bring it into focus. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
