A process for producing an oxidized product in conjunction with a turbine (120) for generating power. This process comprises contacting a compressed and heated oxygen-containing gas stream (105) with at least one solid electrolyte oxygen selective ion transport membrane (103) in a membrane reactor (115). A reactant (110) is passed into the reactor to generate an oxidized product (125) therefrom. Oxygen-depleted retentate stream (112) from the reactor is added to a gas turbine combustor (140) and expanded in a gas turbine (120) to generate power.
