A method and an apparatus for generating a combined image are provided to minimize visual effect such as a noted blur and a motion blur in a digital image device. While a sequence including plural initial images is captured(100), a subset of initial images which do not have substantial motion is detected. To generate a combined image, data is combined from the subset. The combined image is outputted(104). Each of the plural initial images has first quality in accordance with first exposure. The combined image has second quality in accordance with second exposure. The second quality is higher than the first quality. An image received from the subset is added to a temporary combined image having random quality. |
