CARD CONNECTOR

A card connector for promoting slimness in a state that the intensity of resin material housing is provided to solve insufficient intensity by the thin resin of the housing by using reinforcing material of a connector. A plate(150) is covered around a housing of resin material. A receiving unit accommodates a memory card inserted from a card insertion hole. An upper unit(142) of the housing is arranged against one-directional surface in which the electrode of a memory card is installed. A contact(130) is electrically connected to the electrode of the memory card. The contact is arranged with the method of forming insert. The housing is protruded from an upper surface unit.
