METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR COLLECTING SPENT NUCLEAR FUEL

PURPOSE: A device and a method for collecting spent nuclear fuel are provided to improve process efficiency by reducing a collection time by separately collecting the separated hull and the powdered pellet in one collector. CONSTITUTION: A pellet collector(160) collects the oxidized and powdered pellet. A hull collector(150) collects the hull after oxidation. A guide unit(120) guides the hull from the oxidation container to the receiving unit receiving the pellet collector and the hull collector. A transfer unit(140) is equipped in the oxidation container and discharges the hull to the outside. A powder receiving unit(130) is positioned in a lower part of the oxidation container and temporarily receives the powdered pellet. An air spray unit sprays the high pressure air to the oxidation container or powder receiving unit.
