The battery (1) has a heat conductive plate (5) arranged in a battery housing (2) for tempering the battery. Electrical cells (4) are connected with each other in parallel or series and are heat conductively connected with the conductive plate. An electronic component i.e. insulated electronic unit (6), is arranged in the battery housing. The battery housing comprises a filler hole (8) for filling an insulating agent e.g. lacquer, silicone, plastic and latex based agent, where the filler hole is a pressure suppression opening. A closure element (9) i.e. sealing plug, closes the filler hole. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a battery.
