The present invention relates to a catalyst for a dehydration reaction of glycerin, a preparation method thereof, and a preparation method of acrolein. More particularly, the catalyst for a dehydration reaction of glycerin can minimize generation of byproducts from a glycerin dehydration reaction, and can improve selectivity of acrolein while maintaining high catalytic activity during the reaction. The catalyst comprises complex metal oxide represented by (Ma)_p(Mb)_qB_rW_sP_tO_x.
