The present invention relates to a drain cover comprising: a grating (2) which is positioned in the upper part of a drain; and a catching unit (6) which prevents the inflow of waste flowing in with rainwater by being installed in the edge rainwater inflow path (4) of the grating (2) and protruding upwards by the inflow of rainwater. The catching unit (6) includes: a case (8) which is fixated by being installed to fit the rainwater inflow path (4) of the grating (2); a floating body (12) which is positioned inside the case (8) and moves up and down by buoyancy; a space unit (22) which elevates the floating body (12) as buoyancy is generated by being filled with rainwater through an inlet hole (18) of the upper part of the case (8); and a discharge hole (24) which discharges rainwater filling the space unit (22) in order to lower the floating body (12). The present invention has effects of: blocking various kinds of waste from flowing into a drain through the grating (2) by the catching unit (6) protruding by being floated when rainwater flows in; preventing the catching unit (6) from protruding over the ground unnecessarily by automatically controlling the protruding height of the catching unit (6) in accordance with flow rate; and safely inducing the driving and parking of a vehicle by displaying a boundary between a road and a sidewalk at night by including a luminous unit (10) in the upper part of the catching unit (6). |
