PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information profitable to a user even after the agreement of contract of an article has been completed.SOLUTION: An article information providing system for providing article information and/or article content via the Internet includes: a server; and portable terminal equipment. The server includes: a storage part for storing the article information, marker image data, article content data and additional information indicating that the agreement of contract of the article has been completed; association means for associating the marker image data with the article content data; augmented reality display means for allowing the image display part of the portable terminal equipment to display an article content image based on the associated article content data; and other article recommendation means for providing associated article information consisting of article information having a predetermined relation with the article information related to the article the agreement of contract of which has been completed to the portable terminal. The server is configured to determine the presence/absence of the additional information, and to, when the additional information is present, enable the image display part to display the related article information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
