PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a multi-fuel engine, by means of which a fuel economy performance of an engine is improved as much as possible while an output performance or responsiveness of the engine is assured.SOLUTION: The control device for a multi-fuel engine controls a first and a second fuel injection valves 18A, 18B in such a way that first fuel and second fuel are supplied to an engine 10 at a prescribed rate and a combustion air-fuel ratio in a combustion chamber of the engine 10 becomes a prescribed first lean air-fuel ratio when a load of the engine 10 is a prescribed load or higher or output of the engine 10 is not constant. When, on the other hand, the engine 10 is operated under a load lower than the prescribed load and at a constant output, the control device for the multi-fuel engine performs the first fuel single injection control for controlling the first fuel injection valve 18A in such a way that only the first fuel is supplied to the engine 10 and a combustion air-fuel ratio in the combustion chamber of the engine 10 becomes an air-fuel ratio higher than the first lean air-fuel ratio.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
