PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion detection system that switches detection of an intrusion into a vehicle and detection of operation of an occupant for controlling an on-vehicle device according to the state of the vehicle and enables optimum sensing for each kind of detection.SOLUTION: A motion detection system 1 includes: a motion sensor 2 for detecting the motion of a person or an object in a cabin; vehicle information acquisition means 3 for acquiring vehicle information including an engine operation and a door lock of a vehicle; control means 5 operating in operation modes including a security mode for detecting the motion of the person or the object in the cabin with the motion sensor and effecting a prescribed alarm when an abnormality has been determined, and an operation detection mode for detecting an operation of an occupant in the cabin with the motion sensor and performing control of a prescribed on-vehicle device corresponding to the operation; and switching means 4 which determines the vehicle state of the vehicle on the basis of the vehicle information acquired by the vehicle information acquisition means and switching the operation of the control means to the security mode or the operation detection mode according to the vehicle state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
