PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To configure a valve opening/closing timing control device that reliably releases fitting of an advance/retreat member of an advance/retreat mechanism when a relative rotation phase is changed from a regulated state or a restrained state.SOLUTION: A lock pin 31 is provided as a lock mechanism L for restraining a relative rotation phase of an external rotor and an internal rotor 20. First and second pressure receiving surfaces T1 and T2 for making oil pressure act in an unlocking direction are formed on the lock pin 31. A communication releasing oil passage 35, which makes the oil pressure act by supplying hydraulic oil of an advance chamber R1 to the first pressure receiving surface T1, is formed. An independent release oil passage 36, which is used so that the oil pressure of the hydraulic oil branching off from a branch area D midway through an advance oil passage 25 for supplying the hydraulic oil to the advance chamber R1 can act on the second pressure receiving surface T2, is formed. |
