The invention relates to a caterpillar mini robot meant for special applications in theatres of operations, by improving the capacity of remote obtaining and collecting video information with a view to observing and detecting the non-exploded ammunition and the hasty explosive devices situated in locations dangerous or inaccessible for the human operator and the applications in the education field concerning the improvement of the professional skills of the students in the field of the advanced military technologies. The claimed mini robot has four degrees of mobility, has a simple completely modular and compact mechanical structure and consists of two main modules: a rotation module () containing a rotation couple () and a rotation tray (), a tilting module consisting of two forearms () and an arm () and some kinematic couples (). |
