The invention relates to an equipment for machining spur gears having teeth in the shape of a circular arc, in universal milling machines, for manufacturing unique or small-scale products. According to the invention, the equipment comprises a tool-holder support () which receives the rotation motion, at a rotary speed (), about an axis which is inclined under an angle () in relation with the vertical plane, which determines the height of a tooth on the width of a gear, where, upon mounting a tool () for making teeth flanks into the tool-holder support (), a teeth curvature () is formed along the gear width, and a device mounted on the table of a milling machine, by means of which a blanc () receives, by means of a system comprising a drum () and some metal strips (), a transverse motion () correlated with a rotary speed () so as to obtain an involute profile of the tooth, an indexing element () and a master gear () allowing the successive machining of the gear teeth flanks by the single indexing method. |
