PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive unit capable of efficiently driving a motor to a high revolution.SOLUTION: The motor drive unit includes: a converter that boosts an AC source voltage to a first voltage value Vc1 or a second voltage value Vc2 higher than a first voltage value Vc1 and converts the same into a DC current; an inverter that converts an output voltage from the converter into an AC voltage to control the revolution speed of the motor to a target revolution speed; and control means that controls the converter to switch and output the output voltage Vc from the first voltage value Vc1 to the second voltage value Vc2, or from the second voltage value Vc2 to the first voltage value Vc1 according to the target revolution speed of the motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
