PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detection device with which it is possible to bring a terminal and the core wire of a lead wire into contact favorably.SOLUTION: Provided is a liquid level detection device comprising a holder 2 revolving in accordance with the displacement of a float following a liquid level fluctuation, a magnet 2a fixed to the holder 2 and revolving together with the holder 2, a resin package 3 incorporating a magnetic detection element for detecting a magnetic change following the revolving motion of the magnet 2a, a terminal 1a electrically connected with the magnetic detection element, a first resin member 11 holding the resin package 3 and incorporating the terminal 1a, a second resin member 12 covering the resin package 3 and the first resin member 11, and a lead wire 9 consisting of a core wire electrically connected with the terminal 1a and a covering member for covering the core wire, wherein the first resin member 11 has a recess for accommodating a portion of the covering member in such a way that the core wire runs along the face of the terminal 1a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
