PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase in a material cost and mass, while improving the stiffness and hardness of a shell by a reinforcing member, in a silencer.SOLUTION: A silencer is equipped with a shell and a reinforcing member. The shell is formed in a cylindrical shape. The reinforcing member is disposed so as to reinforce the shell along an inner peripheral surface of the shell from the inside. Concretely, on an outer peripheral surface of the reinforcing member, an abutting surface opposite to the inner peripheral surface at am abutting position, and a separating surface opposite to the inner peripheral surface at a separating position are formed. A part opposite to the abutting surface on the inner peripheral surface, includes a part having the maximum curvature radius in a shape of the inner peripheral surface viewed from an axial direction of the shell. A part opposite to the separating surface on the inner peripheral surface, includes a part having the minimum curvature radius in the shape of the inner peripheral surface viewed from the axial direction of the shell.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
