PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a segment conductor in which a height of a coil end part disposed while being exposed from a stator core is reduced with small electric resistance, a stator, a rotary electric machine, and a vehicle.SOLUTION: A segment conductor 21 is a conductor element of a coil that is wound around a stator core 11 of the rotary electric machine in a distributed winding manner, has a flat cross section, and comprises: a pair of linear conductor parts 21t; and a curved conductor part 21s which mutually couples one-side ends of the pair of linear conductor parts 21t. The cross section in a portion including a curved conductor part 21s and disposed while being exposed from the stator core 11 is made thinner than the cross section in a portion (linear part 21c) in the linear conductor parts 21t, disposed while being accommodated in a slot of the stator core 11. The stator is structured by disposing a plurality of segment conductors at the stator core in the distributed winding manner. The rotary electric machine comprises the stator.
