PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press device which can rapidly caulk a crimp object member suitable for mass production while keeping worker's load to a minimum requirement with no need of power such as electricity.SOLUTION: A press device comprises a die 2 that supports a snap button from below, a punch 3 that presses the snap button from above at a position corresponding to this die 2, an operation lever 4 that contracts a gap between the die 2 and the punch 3 to apply force for crimping the snap button, and a link mechanism 5 that transmits force applied on this operation lever 4 to the punch 3, where the link mechanism 5 transmits the force with a long movement length of the punch 3 to a lever operation angle when starting the operation of the operation lever 4, and a short movement length of the punch 3 to a lever operation angle when crimping the snap button.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
