PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet device capable of retaining a flat part of a long wiping member easily.SOLUTION: A liquid jet device comprises: an ink jet head having a nozzle face equipped with a plurality of nozzles for injecting ink; a wiping member 40 for wiping the nozzle face by the movement relative to the ink jet head; and a support member 41 for supporting the wiping member 40. The wiping member 40 includes a plurality of retained portions 42. The support member 41 includes: a plurality of supporting parts 51 having support faces 51a for supporting the wiping member 40; and a plurality of retaining portions 52 retained on the retained portions 42 between the supporting parts 51. The retained parts 42 are elastically extended, while being retained by the retained portions 52, such that the wiping member 40 is elastically extended in a direction to abut against the support faces 51a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
