PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire vulcanizing mold in which a minute gap that is opened to a tire molding plane and functions as an exhaust path is hardly worn to ensure satisfactory ventilation and which has excellent maintainability and to provide a method for producing a pneumatic tire by using the tire vulcanizing mold.SOLUTION: A belt-shaped liner 7, which is harder than a basic material of a sector 2 and is buried detachably in a liner burying groove 3, is buried in the liner burying groove 3 which extends from one end of the sector 2 to the other end thereof in the peripheral direction and is formed on the tire molding plane 5 of the sector 2. The minute gap 8 formed between the liner 7 and the liner burying groove 3 is communicated with an exhaust hole 9 connected to the outside of the sector 2 so that the air or unnecessary when a green tire is vulcanized is exhausted to the outside of the sector 2 through the minute gap 8 and the exhaust hole 9. |
