<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device for compensating the eccentricity of the roll of the rolling mill, which does not adversely affect plate thickness by removing disturbance with a simple processing. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a rolling reaction force detector 4 for measuring the rolling reaction forces every rotations of rolls 2U, 2L, thickness detector 6 for measuring the thickness on the inlet side every rotation of the roll, detector 7 for the rotation of a back-up roll for detecting the rotation of the back-up roll interlocked with the roll, computing element 8 for estimating the waveform of the roll eccentricity for calculating the variation of the roll eccentricity every rotation of the back-up roll on the basis of the measured value of at least the rolling reaction force detector and the thickness detector and computing element 10 of the waveform of the roll eccentricity for extracting the amplitude and the position of the minimum point of the variation of the roll eccentricity which are calculated with this computing element and approximating the amplitude of the roll eccentricity to a specified curve on the basis of the amplitude and the position of the minimum point of the variation of this roll eccentricity.</p> |
