PURPOSE:To confirm an accurate correct exposure with a simple circuit by performing the flashmatic operation and detecting whether the output value is within a diaphragm interlocking range or not to display the result. CONSTITUTION:Object distance information 2 is sent to a flashmatic operating means 7 provided in a camera body 6, and the flashmatic operating means 7 receives film sensitivity information 6 and guide number information 8 of a flash device and operates an aperture value giving the correct exposure, namely, a flashmatic aperture value based on these information. Full-aperture information 3 and minimum aperture information 4 from a photographic lens 1 are sent to a discriminating means 12, and the discriminating means 12 discriminates where the flashmatic aperture value is within the diaphragm interlocking range or not, on the basis of these information, and the result is displayed on a display means 13. The output of the flashmatic operating means 7 is sent to a diaphragm control mechanism 14 to control a diaphragm member 5 of the photographic lens 1. Thus, accurate confirmation of the correct exposure is displayed by the simple circuit.
