PURPOSE:To prevent toner from leaking from a sealant to the outside by integrally forming the sealant with a side seal part without splices. CONSTITUTION:Since the gap between a thin film sleeve 25 coming into contact with toner and a developer tank 3 in the development part 2 of the developing device 1 is sealed by the sealant 12 made of a lower seal part 13 and the side seal part 14, toner never leaks from the gap. The spring 8 of a pressure mechanism 3 stably applies tensile force to the side seal part 14, whereby toner never leaks through the contact surface of the sealant 12 with the sleeve 25. Moreover, the sealant 12 and a member 15 are integrally formed without splices, and accordingly sealing property becomes flawless. Consequently, the toner never leaks from the sealant to the outside. |
