PURPOSE:To reduce the height of the printer by arranging a plane photosensitive body in a reciprocally movable state and arraying a mechanism required for image printing in the moving direction of the plane photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The plane photosensitive body 1 which is formed like a cylindrical photosensitive drum is expanded into a flat plate is provided as a photosensitive body for image formation, and the plane photosensitive body 1 is arranged with its image formation surface 1a down so that the photosensitive body can reciprocate horizontally. Further, a charger 2, an LED head 3, a developing unit 4, an erasure lamp 5, a cleaner 6, a transfer charger 8, and a fixing device 9 is arrayed linearly below the photosensitive body 1 from the movement start side to the end side of the plane photosensitive body 1. Thus, the plane photosensitive body 1 is used and the mechanism required for image printing is arranged below the plane photosensitive body 1 to reduce the height of the printer. |
