CONTROL SYSTEM FOR SELF ROUTING SWITCH

PURPOSE:To reduce the entire hardware scale of a self routing switch by concentrating routing processing elements using an output number as an object onto one stage. CONSTITUTION:Plural processing elements 105 each comprising a 2X2 switch are provided in a routing processing system 104 of a self routing switch 110. An input port 101 sends only an output number to the routing processing system 104 prior to the information transfer and the routing processing system 104 applies calculation to the output number and stores the result to a register 107 of a register system 106. Each register 107 transfers the stored information to the 2X2 cross point 109 of an information transfer system 108 to set up the cross point 109. Since the routing processing circuit taking the output number as its object is concentrated into one stage in this way, the entire hardware scale is reduced.
