The brake pressure valve is used in a motor vehicle. The pressure rod piston (1) forms a one-piece unit with the brake pressure control valve (1'). The projection of the brake pressure control valve which is turned towards the auxiliary pressure piston (2) is provided with two control surfaces (3,3') which actuate the auxiliary pressure piston, with the face of the first surface smaller than that of the second surface. USE/ADVANTAGE - Brake pressure control unit which has fewer working parts and which is easier to serice.
