PURPOSE:To obtain a color thermal recording material which can prevent thermal roughing by providing a protecting sheet on the color thermal recording material for the prevention of thermal roughing on the surface of the material so that the sheet can be peeled off. CONSTITUTION:A protecting sheet 16 is junctioned with a yellow thermal coloring layer 14 through a peel-off layer 15 for the prevention of thermal roughing on a color thermal recording material. This peel-off layer 15 enables a recorded image to be viewed and in this sense, transparent polymer is used. The protecting sheet 16 used is transparent plastic film having superior thermal transmission. If the tip of a recording area on the color thermal recording material 10a reaches a thermal head 24, a yellow image begins to be thermally recorded. When thermally recording the image, a thermal head 2 heats a yellow thermal coloring layer 14 through a protecting sheet 16 and a yellow image is thermally recorded by line on the thermal coloring layer 14. |
