PURPOSE:To suppress a variation in a DC output voltage in response to an abrupt change in a power source voltage at a high speed and to suppress generation of a torque shock by detecting the variation in the power source voltage, regulating sensitivity in response to control phase angle-output voltage characteristics of a thyristor power converter, and correcting a control phase angle by a current control system. CONSTITUTION:A current control amplifier 7 is provided in a minor loop of a speed controller 6 to control a current, and a thyristor igniting phase of a thyristor converter 2 is phase-controlled according to a current control signal via a bias amplifier 10 and a noise removing integrator 13 by a phase unit 14 and a gate pulse oscillator 15. In this case, a correction input signal alpha to the integrator 13 is obtained in response to a deviation DELTAVAC between a power source voltage detected value VAC and a reference power source voltage VACO to correct the control phase due to an abrupt change in the power source voltage, a sensitivity of the control phase angle to a voltage variation is regulated by a sensitivity regulator 25 and a multiplier 26 in the case of the correction, and its polarity is altered by a correction polarity switching circuit 27 according to a drive/absorption mode of a DC motor 1. |
