PURPOSE:To provide a thermal transfer image receiving sheet near to plain paper in quality feeling at the time of practical manual handling and capable of forming an image of high quality. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer image receiving sheet 10 is formed by providing a dyeing layer 12 to at least one surface of a base film 11 and the dyeing layer 12 is formed so as to have a porous structure with an average pore size of 0.05-50mum on at least the surface side thereof.
