PURPOSE:To accurately perform both actions for accumulating paper on a tray and feeding the paper by arranging a paper feeding device on the upper part of the tray in an intermediate tray device. CONSTITUTION:The paper feeding device 10 is arranged on the upper part of a tray member 2 in the intermediate tray device 1, and paper feeding operation is performed by paper feeding members 14... through many actuating arm members 13... provided in the device 10. When the paper is inserted through an entrance roller member 5, it is stopped at a position where the trailing edge thereof is projected to the entrance roller member side. In a state where the next paper is superposed on that paper, the action for carrying the paper toward a gate member is performed, so that the paper is housed in a state where the leading edge thereof is butted on the gate member. In the case of feeding the paper from the device 1, the gate member is opened and the paper is fed toward a paper feeding path 7 by the device 10. |
