PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine having a simple constitution, capable of effectively folding a piece of meat. SOLUTION: This machine installs folding arms 29, 30 set to open and close in a direction parallel to a transfer direction of a transfer conveyer 22 on the middle of the transfer conveyer 22 transferring the piece of meat. The machine carries out a folding control which stops the transfer conveyer 22 and shuts and opens the folding arms 29, 30 when the piece of meat 13 comes right above the folding arms 29, 30. The folding arms 29, 30 protrude upward from a slit 33 of the conveyer belt 26 when the arms shut and then clamp the sliced piece of meat 13 from both sides and fold, whereupon the folding arms 29, 30 shut in a sloped angle to the vertical direction. Then the folding arms 29, 30 open and put the folded sliced piece of meat 13 on the conveyer belt 26 while supporting the meat piece by one of the arms 29 when the arms are contained under the conveyer belt 26. |
