PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save the labor and time for selecting a desired examination image from a number of examination images of one patient different in modality and examination date, and to make the examination image selected by a simple operation possible to be displayed in an original image size. SOLUTION: An examination image of a desired patient is selected from a patient list or the like (S300 to S330). An index image formed by a thumbnail image of a series of examination images of the selected patient is displayed on a display monitor 2a special for an index image (S340). A desired thumbnail image and CRT monitor are selected from the displayed index image (S350). An original image of the examination image to which the selected thumbnail image belongs is displayed on the selected CRT monitor (S360). |
