<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the floor area occupied for an empty-tray storage place and enhance the space utilization efficiency, by handling the empty tray similarly to a loaded tray and storing the empty tray in the warehouse. CONSTITUTION:In a system wherein a thread package is loaded on a tray and this tray is stored in a warehouse 2 for accommodating a large number of packages in tray units, an empty tray 12 is accommodated by being placed on a stocker 8 so that it may be carried into and delivered from the warehouse by an automatic fork as in the case of a loaded tray. When delivering from the warehouse, according to the necessity the loaded tray 11 is taken out from a predetermined section of the stocker 8 by the automatic fork. Subsequently, the empty tray is received into an empty section of the warehouse 2 by a return conveyor 10. When carrying into the warehouse, first, the empty tray 12 is taken out from a predetermined section of the warehouse and carried onto a transfer line 4. Then, the loaded tray 11 having the thread packages placed thereon, which has been taken out from a production line 5, is stored into an empty section of the warehouse 2 via a transfer launch 4.</p> |
