PURPOSE: To obtain a liner material, by which the damage of a magnetic disk is prevented while a nerve is reinforced and the operation of an assembly process is facilitated, by approximately bonding one surface of entangled nonwoven fabrics containing adhesive fibers and sticking the surface side of the one surface onto a cartridge case or a jacket. CONSTITUTION: A web, in which the fixed quantities of each fiber of PVA, rayon and polyester are blended, is treated with water, dehydrated and dried, and only the PVA fibers of one surface are dissolved and solidified, thus acquiring a liner material. A surface, on which the liner material is bonded approximately, is stuck on a cartridge case or a jacket, thus protecting a disk. Accordingly, the falling-off of fibers is prevented while a surface, on which the liner material is not bonded, is abutted against the disk, thus protecting the disk from damage. A proper nerve is imparted to the whole liner material, thus facilitating handling in an assembly process. |
