PURPOSE: To provide a parking lot controller which is capable of automatically controlling the garage entering/leaving of a vehicle and the vehicle presence status at a parking lot and quickly coping with the leaving of the vehicle processing when a parking ticket is lost. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle 9 is detected by a vehicle detection sensor 1. Thus, the number plate of the vehicle 9 is read by an image pickup camera 3. The number of this number plate is recognized in a vehicle number recognizing device 2 and is transmitted to a centralized controller 6. Next, when the vehicle 9 is loaded on a vehicle carrier truck 4, the loading of the vehicle 9 is detected by a weight sensor and the number of the vehicle carrier truck 4 is transmitted from a vehicle carrier control unit 5 to the centralized controller 6. The number of the number plate and the number of the vehicle carrier truck 4 are linked at the inside of the centralized controller 6. Next, a parking ticket in which the numbers, etc., of the number plate and the vehicle carrier truck 4 are entered is issued from a parking ticket issuing machine 7. When the vehicle 9 leaves from the parking lot, the parking ticket is inserted into a parking control panel 8. |
