PURPOSE: To reduce thermal effect on a machine due to heat generation in a servo amplifier and also to reduce cost correspondingly to the part dispensed with such as a cooling device by providing a power regenerative device for returning to a power source side the regenerative power that is generated in a servo motor at the time of its regenerative braking. CONSTITUTION: A servo amplifier 43 and a power regenerative device 44 are constituted of a converter 47 for converting the power source 41 of three-phase AC to DC, first inverter 49 for converting DC thus obtained at the converter 47 to AC, PWM control circuit 51 for controlling this first inverter 49, servo motor 45 connected to the output of this first inverter 49, second inverter 53, regenerative control circuit 55, and others. Consequently, there is little heat generation caused by a regenerative power consumption in the servo amplifier 43. Further, parts such as a fan and its driving motor are dispensed with in connection with regenerative resistance for regenerative power consumption and a cooling device for cooling regenerative resistance. |
