Precision thermostat for maintaining constant temp

The thermostat has a measuring sensor (ME) coupled to a regulator (RE) for a heating element (HE). The measuring sensor is contained in a gas-tight housing (G), which is partially filled with a fluid (FL), in which the heating element is immersed. Pref. the housing is evacuated, the heating element controlled to maintain a constant temp of the fluid vapour (DP) above the surface of the fluid, for holding a body (A) surrounded by the fluid vapour at a constant temp.
